Lonely trucker looking for love

I recently moved back to Michigan after being out in the Arizona desert the last 10 years. I grew up in Michigan, family is there, which is important to me. I am a tech head and a self proclaimed nerd as well as an outdoors person. I like going to comic-cons, I build my own computers. Like to camp, fish, chop wood. I am at home not just sitting at a computer or playing video games but also can sit for time on end and watch a fire burn. I have been a hard working individual for years. with that though comes lack of time to go out and meet someone. I have a wide variety of interests. I like to go out to the movies as well as stay at home to cuddle. I enjoy reading books, mostly sci-fi and fantasy. I still like to learn new things, try to learn something new everyday. I like to relax and have fun, but I also know where my prorites are and when to be serious. I listen to most types of music, love going to rock concerts. As I said I am a hard working person so right now not much time for trying to find someone. Family is also important to me, try to help around my Dads place when I can and another reason I moved back to Michigan is to be back close to them, as well as watch me neices and nephews grow and try to be a apart of there lives. I am independent and don't like people doing things for me I tend to be protective, especially of women I know, most female friendships turn into a big brother kind of thing. I am a bit shy when it comes to relationships, takes me a bit to warm up to the point of getting somewhere in a relationship. Like to take things slow to get to know a person.
